You are cordially invited to ICoME 2017 (International Conference for Media in Education) in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA. The conference will be held on August 2-4, with a pre-conference symposium on August 1. There is an optional post-conference Hawaiian style dinner to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Learning Design and Technology department at the University of Hawaii on August 5. ICoME 2017 is the 15th joint conference supported by the Japan Association for Educational Media Study (JAEMS), the Korea Association for Educational Information and Media (KAEIM), and TCCHawaii.org, a Hawaii NPO that supports educational conferences and events for faculty, students and researchers. It will be held in America for the first time.
The conference will be will held on the campus of the University of Hawaii at Manoa, located in beautiful Manoa Valley, just 3 km. from the famous Waikiki Beach and 3 km. from Ala Moana Center, the world’s largest outdoor shopping center. Conference participants may stay at several campus accommodations including the East-West Center conference housing. For those who want to stay in hotels, the campus is easily accessible from Waikiki by bus or taxi.
